Does it really work?
You will feel your muscles contracting and exercising during the session, as well as seeing more sweat from the Infra-red therapy blanket than most have normally ever seen from past workouts. We finish with RF technology to burn fat cells under the skin and manually contour targeted treatment areas.
How much will I lose?
While this varies by client and area treated, when combined with consistent diet and supplementary exercise, losses can typically range from a half inch, to 4” or more. The more you work with the treatment, the better the results, so the sky is the limit with how much you can achieve.
What does it feel like?
We can tell you from experience that at no time will you or should you feel pain. This non-invasive treatment will feel like a tingling/buzzing sensation at first as your brain and body adjusts to the confusion of laying down in a relaxing position while also working out. The RF treatment that follows feels like a warm/hot suction running over the skin this is also painless and can actually be like a deep tissue massage feeling.
Once your body accepts and has adjusted in the same way it accepts a typical work out, you will let us know when you are ready to increase the intensity. The more intensity you can accept, the better the work out and ultimately the results, so we encourage you to push as far as you can, but you decide the intensity you can handle.
How often should I come in for a treatment?
If you are supplementing with additional exercise through the week, 1-2 sessions weekly of Sculpting.
Typically, 1-2 sessions a week for five weeks (5-10 sessions) is advised when also supplementing with additional exercise through the week.
If you are not completing additional workouts outside of EMS Sculpting sessions, we do recommend 2-3 treatments a week, which may require an additional package past the 10 sessions depending on desired results. How long do the effects last?
Normal exercise generally activates only 50-60% of muscle fibers unless you are a trained athlete, however with EMS Sculpting, 100% of targeted muscle fibers are activated, so the effects should typically last you considerably longer than active exercise. If your weight remains consistent, the results will last 6-8 months. If you also integrate regular exercise and healthy diet into your routine, the results can last indefinitely.
Should I do anything before/after a treatment session?
Yes, clients are encouraged to drink water before treatment to enhance lymphatic drainage, and should also drink several glasses of water after each session to assist with flushing the fat/fluids/toxins from the body, as well as rehydrating from the copious sweat loss of each treatment.
I just had a baby, can EMS Sculpting get my stomach back into shape?
There is hardly a faster or easier method of correcting the stretched tummy muscles after childbirth. You can start treatments six weeks after childbirth or six months after a caesarean section. For excessive skin/stretch marks, results may vary, however great improvement can be seen through time and dedication. We have a specific mommy makeover treatment.
